Primary School 1986 — 1994

"Drinka Pavlović", Belgrade

High School 1994 — 1997

Graphic High School (Photographer), Belgrade
Completed only 3, of 4 years,

Started working at an early age at 17, and moved on to practical work.

How others describe me :

"Stevica is a cross between a designer and a developer. One of his many purposes as a team member is to look and act smart as if he knows what he is doing so that the rest of us would feel more relaxed and confident. He's the one everyone blames for eating up all the office snacks, day after day after day… Give him enough space, leave him alone and he'll present you with a mind-blowing piece of user interface design in no time."

"The way he perceives the world is quite unique and he has an eye for detail that many others fail to see. If you need a perfectionist that's never is satisfied with his own work and is always on to something new and impulsive then he is your guy."

My Background Story:

At an early age 7, I started playing with code on my first Commodore 64. From there the adventure began.

Having grown up in downtown Belgrade, Serbia surrounded by concrete and iron, the urban scenery and cityscape have become a huge source of inspiration for my early photography adventures.

Falling in love with photography I decided in the early stage that I will never pursue a photography as a carrier.

So the most logical thing for me was to start working as a Graphic Designer.

Working as a Graphic Designer I learned a lot about all fundamentals of design and print preparation.

But something was still not quite right, luckily I got an opportunity to work on a big web portal as a Graphic Designer and that was it.

During that project, I decided to switch my carrier path to Web Design.

After a couple of years in Web Design, I started coding for a simple reason, I wanted to learn what are my design limitations.

I truly believe that to be a  good UI Designer, you need to code.
Only that way you can understand the whole picture, and Design/Developing a product in full.

The rest is history but I can say for sure that I am quite happy with my life choices and that today I am still seeking and learning constantly new things that will lead me to new adventures!

But still, my life dream is to work at "National Geographic" as a photojournalist :) but also to establish myself as a successful Full Stack Designer in Oslo, Norway.

I can take photos during the weekend ;)

Thank you for reading my story!

Best S.
