Has been a member of the advisory board of the Association for Prevention of Torture since 2012. Since 2009 has given trainings to criminal judges on how to prevent torture through court hearings and by monitoring places of detention . Most recently has been working with the Brazilian federal government as a consultant researcher on strategies to reduce torture perpetrated by public officers .
